Good morning Saturday! Wow, I think I got only two hours sleep last night. No, not from a night on the dance floor, I wish, but from my soon to be 2 year old son twisting, turning, kicking and asking for his "schnulli" (pacifier) all night long. Well, I still got some goodies to keep my eyes open for the next few hours. This short but sweet animation by "Rough Cut"gave my kids the giggles too. Also this online mag. "Babiekins" is great. SO much fun stuff in there. Plus there is a real nice interview on photographer Jan Von Holleben. I featured him a while back too. Love his work. Have a wonderful weekend.

I think photos of Mamas with their precious little ones are just the best. I came across this wonderful post via a lovely blog called Blue Bird. Photos of Mamas with their kids, but not just any mamas, the famous mamas of all time. I also just love the vintage styled photos. Don´t you? There is some history in this one people. Real lovely! How about a few more animals in the nursery? Maybe a few elephants and giraffes? This is "Zelig", a very simple but stylish design by Israeli designer Elad Ozeri. It would be great to see a classroom filled with these guys, making our kids learning experience much more colorful and fun. Don't you think?

Fun Creative Playhouse

We all know how an indoor play house for the little ones can sometimes take too much space at home. Well, not anymore! How about a "Pop-up and collapsible cardboard playhouse called " My Space" by Liya Mairson? Is this cool or what? The kids can not only create different worlds by folding the playhouse in various ways with the choice of different backdrops, but also add a personal touch by letting the kids paint and draw on it. And....it is 100% recyclable. Liya Mairson says its just "like living in a giant pop-up book". I just love it! Go check out the video of the various ways of using " My Space". I wish it was around when I was a little fart too.

Illustrator Jane Reiseger has really done wonders with her gorgeous work. The simplicity of her work has so much character and charm. Jane creates beautiful murals, amongst hundreds of other things. I love the mural she created at a Childrens Hospital. It really makes the space so much more enjoyable and fun to be in. That is definitely a space where kids need more of that kind of beauty surrounding them. I really do love all of Jane Reiseger´s work! It really blooms everywhere. You will love it too, check it out.
